Party for our princess

So we had the last ever 5th Birthday in our house a few weeks ago. A good enough reason to make it extra special. And using Stampin' Up! helped make my life so much easier on the day. We went with a pink and heart theme and I think the products all tied in well. I made some super cute birthday invites which I can't share sad to say as our house was broken into a few days before the party and the photos I took with my lovely camera have been lost forever. Anyway moving on... I had help from a few people on this project. I would like to thank Stampin' Up! for making such amazing products, Miss mouse for the super cute milk bottles and straws (bottles which I can keep on using for the kids parties) and my friend from People Puppies who took photos on the day.

So first off the milk bottles (from Miss mouse who sell amazing party products)

Milk bottles and straws from Miss Mouse. Paper strips glued around the middle made them extra cute (Stampin' Up! Gingham Garden paper)
Baker's  twine (Calypso Coral) from Stampin' Up! around the neck with string twine ($2 shop) added.  Glimmer Paper from Stampin' Up! and heart punch from Stampin' Up!

I also thought it would be a fun idea to stamp some plain napkins with my Stampin' Up! stamp's. How cute do they look. I also made some for the adults. Silver hearts sticks (to the left are for my food treats.)

Goodie jars for the guest. I used the large size baby food jars. And inside I put a lolly pop,
a small bag of jubes, some crayons and a rubber. The tops are decorated with Stampin' Up!  products.
I loved how these looked and the kids got so excited by them.
So lets talk food!!! I had so much fun with the food and having my lovely mum help was great. We went with pink and red foods mainly so it gave the party a pretty look (and yummy as well) My favourite part was the jelly jars. I used the small sized baby food jars. If your past the baby food stage like us I put a note up and Kindy and before you knew it I had boxes of them.

Now these cookies looked so cute. And I have to say how well the stamps worked.

Sweet pressed cookie stamps. I used the holiday set. And Sweet pressed cookie handle.
Both from Stampin' Up!

Safe to say that the party was a huge hit with all the kids and adults. And I think the party girl really enjoyed her special day. All the products I have used can be used again and again. The punches, cookie stamps, milk bottles are items which will be so useful for future parties or events. I really enjoyed working with all these prouducts. The Stampin' Up! products are from the latest catalogue.
