EVEN MORE CRAFTY GOODNESS!

Introducing Rodayo Busk!

These super soft T shirts are hand printed with water colour ink by Auckland artist Boe Busch for her clothing label Rodayo Busk.

Each run of designs is very limited; 70 T-shirts being the largest number of any one design, so you can be sure that the T-shirt you buy is pretty special and unique.

Her t-shirts are sourced from an Auckland company who's production facilities are W.R.A.P certified, ensuring a sweatshop free product and ethical work conditions.

Meet one of Crafternoon-Tea's new regulars! Kylie from Skipapple, who makes a range of divine goodies guaranteed to catch your eye! You're bound to find some Christmas presents at this stall!

I love the coffee cozy's, headbands, necklaces, well alright, I love it all and I'm sure you will too!

IT'S A WEEK AWAY!

Yes, the next Crafternoon-Tea is less than a week away! Preparations are well underway and we've been marketing like mad! Auckland weather terrifies me, so it's fingers crossed that we get loads of hot sunny weather! We managed to get our ad in the December issue of the Ponsonby News (see below), which was very exciting and will hopefully generate lots of new interest, this will be a regular thing from now on, so keep a look out for it! If you're not sure where you can get your free copy of the magazine, their website has a helpful list of all retailers, yay!

We've got lots of wonderful new vendors at the Christmas market, and I'll be doing small features on some of these, as not all of them have blogs yet. Plus we have all our wonderful regular vendors, who will also be getting a special mention. There will be lots of new and exciting things happening this weekend, so be sure to come down and check us out. Don't forget that for this month only we are in a new venue! Plus we'll be holding an extra-special Christmas Prize Draw with loads of fabulous goodies from some of our amazing vendors, more on that later!

Looking forward to see you there!

CHRISTMAS MARKET UPDATE!

Some exciting things have been happening in the lead up to our Christmas market extravanganza! We have an advert appearing in the Ponsonby News tomorrow, which will become a regular thing. The Ponsonby News is delivered, free, to over 15,000 homes in the area! Adverts will also be appearing in the free local, suburban newspapers in the weeks leading up to the event, as well as the school newsletter, which goes home to over 650 families! On top of all this, we're doing a big flyer drop this weekend to homes in the local area, not to mention the Grey Lynn Festival, which we'll also be at handing out flyers. Please do your part too and get the news out there any way you can! We still have a few tables left at the market, so get your applications in now and tell all your friends!
Look out for the advert!

QUIET - BUT A LOVELY ATMOSPHERE!

Well, the second ever Crafternoon-tea was decidedly quieter than the first, but still an excellent day! So many people, customers and vendors commented on the wonderful atmosphere! Yay! The weather was gorgeous and the tide of people ebbed and flowed (such a teacher metaphor!). We had incredible vendors, the talent of people out there constantly amazes me! Sarah from Songbird Designs told me the wonderful news that a retail stockist, Mixt in Kingsland, had spotted her from the first Crafternoon-tea and approached her to sell her incredible products! MARKET DAY TOMORROW!!!

It's nearly here! The second ever Crafternoon-Tea! It's been a ridiculous week for me, I've had some personal things to deal with, school reports to write and the fair to organise! Burning the candle at both ends that's for sure! But it's all so worth it! Plus, there's some exciting new things this time! We're bigger for a start, we've taken over the stage and the meeting room to the side, which means over double the vendors we had last time - HUGE! And a wobble board. Yep, we forked out for a brand, shiny new wobble board, look out for it as you come in. We have two entrances this time as well, one right next to the stage and the main one, so people should be pouring in from both ends!
Looking forward to seeing you all there,
Luisa :-)
