A LOVELY DAY!

With people still on holiday, Saturday was fairly quiet, however, it was still a fabulous day! Crafty people caught up with other crafty people and even made new crafting friends. It was great to see what new things people had brought along and as always, I marvel at the incredible talent Auckland has to offer, and how wonderful it is to have them at Crafternoon Tea.

Applications will be opening tomorrow for the February market, so don't wait around, get applying! Remember, that when applying, you need to make sure that what you sell is handmade by you. This is what sets us apart from other markets and retail stores, and it's something that we pride ourselves on, and are gaining a reputation for.

The newsletter is nearly finished, and should be with you all shortly, exciting stuff! If you haven't already signed up for it, then click the button on your right! We've decided to run a monthly competition in the newsletter. The winner will receive a full table (free!) at Crafternoon Tea. So, what is this amazing competition I hear you ask? Get out those crayons and felt tips, because to win this prize, you need to design the flyer for the February market.
The flyer will need to have the following details:
  • The market name
  • Physical address
  • Date and time
  • Blog address
The rest is up to you! Email all entries to: luisa.crafternoontea@gmail.com Slightly short notice on this one, we need entries in by 31st January. So what are you waiting for? Get scribbling!
We can't wait to see what you crafty people come up with!

UPDATE!

It's been a while since the last update, we've been ridiculously busy with work and all things Christmas, as has everyone else I'm sure! The christmas market, while quieter than I hoped, (damn you Auckland weather!) was still a success for most of our vendors. The school hall proved to be a nice venue with good 'flow', even if it was logistically challenging! Time and again I could hear customers talking about the wonderful atmosphere and fantastic range of products, a great reason to be known by!
The amazing Lucy from Felt took time from her incredibly busy schedule to put together some Felt goody bags for all our wonderful vendors! Thanks Lucy, it was gratefully received by all!

Preparations are again underway for our January market. Applications are now open and we will once again be back in our regular location in Kingsland.

We have lots of exciting things planned for the new year, so bookmark or subscribe to this page and keep an eye out for the latest news and crafty happenings!
